synopsis:
former vampire noble jun yue finds herself caught in the jaws of an innocuous looking village's religious practices. with only the stoic warden as company, she is forced to find new ways to break the monotony of imprisoned life before an untimely demise.
gameplay:
lasts around 1 hour 30 minutes. the game has no choices and only one ending, with an additional epilogue that can only be accessed after the game's completion.

i really grew to adore both these characters over the course of the vn and their dynamic is electric, the more you make the reader fall backward into their pasts the more gutwrenching it is when - well, it is the toxic yuri jam, after all... perfectly captures the alienation of being in a place where you never truly feel at home, and of not having a home to go back to. two women who hurt in ways they can understand and leave each other changed. the fantasy sequences were especially a standout. loved all of this.
this makes me so happy aaaa!!! we really wanted to capture both the obvious toxicity of their relationship w/ the chemistry they just naturally have and how they can bounce off of one another.. i am very fond of the seemingly opposite characters that, when unraveled, have similar wants and needs. i think theres alot of love for very neat and tidy victims of abuse and neglect that isnt very often seen for messier less ‘excusable’ ones so this is my love letter to those people! debatable whether they changed one another for the better or not but they for sure CHANGED one another hehehe. i was responsible for the art and writing of the fantasy sequences so i rly am glad u enjoyed those!!! i was balancing stream of consciousness w a hopefully coherent enough recollection of events and just observing how the character chews on various ideas and concepts. THIS MEANS SO MUCH TO THE TEAM!!!! THANK U FOR PLAYING AND COMMENTING 💖
